Paul Walker’s Father Files A Lawsuit Against Porsche 

 Fast and Furious actor Paul Walker who died at the age of 40 two years ago in a car crash in Santa Clarita, California. His father Paul William Walker III, who is the executor of the actor’s estate, is seeking unspecified damages from the car company Porsche for wrongful death and negligence by filing a lawsuit.

As per the documents obtained from the court, alleges the Porsche Carrera GT lacked certain safety features that could have saved the lives of Walker and his friend, Roger Rodas, who was driving at the time of the accident, reported People magazine.

While this lawsuit is similar to the wrongful death lawsuit filed by the actor’s daughter Meadow Walker against the company saying the seatbelts were not effectively designed to be able to hold a person at the time of the crash while not putting forward that Paul’s car met the crash as the Porsche was travelling at around 90mph when the accident happened.

Walker’s father said that the missing features include:  a stability control system, side-door reinforcements and a breakaway fuel line that could have stopped the car from catching on fire after it hit three trees.

Hence, in his lawsuit he states, “absent these defects in the Porsche Carrera GT, Paul Walker would be alive today.”

Porche has reverted ,  insisting that because the limited edition car had allegedly been “abused and altered” as well as “misused and improperly maintained”, Walker’s death was the actor’s “own comparative fault”.
