It is making the fans of the game really difficult to book their flights, visas and hotel bookings and if there are no updates soon, the troubles are going to increase for the organisers.

ICC World T20 2016

Although India has been quite good in hosting major Cricket events and the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 was one of the best edition of World Cup but this time, the scenario doesn’t look to go the same as of now.

The deadline which has been told by Anurag Thakur for the release of Tickets is 15th February and it would be interesting to see if they comes out or not.

Adding to it, one of the biggest issue that the T20 championship is facing that two of the teams, West Indies and Pakistan are not sure that whether they will participate in the tournament or not. The team of West Indies is having issues with their board WICB for the contract of the players. Apparently, it is unlikely that WICB will risk it with the T20 tournament and will send their team to it.

On the other hand, it is still unclear that whether Pakistan will play the tournament or the Govt. of Pakistan will boycott it. The primary reason that is behind the decision of Govt of Pakistan is that even Indian govt didn’t agreed to play a bilateral series against them last year, hence they want to repeat it through the World T20. When the close sources contacted PCB on the participation of their team in World T20, they said that the decision will be made within a week’s time. However, the national selectors have selected that 15 man squad for the championship.
