Padman 7th Day Collection, Padman Thursday Box Office Report and 1st Week Occupancy: Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte starring movie showed an important issue with the great support of Twinkle Khanna. Earlier, it was expected that this flick will perform better than the previous productions of Khiladi Kumar.

The movie raises the issue that every woman faces i.e., menstrual hygiene but if we look at the collection figures then it hasn’t done well as expected. Still, even the first week is about to over, it has done a decent job in the domestic market.

The seventh day of the movie may end up with Rs. 7 crore which is a decent amount of weekday. Till now the 6 days business of the production stands at Rs. 59.09 crores. It has already entered Rs. 50 crore club out of which Rs. 40+ crores are from the 1st weekend of release.

The figures are confirmed by the tweet of trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Twitter, “#PadMan is SUPER-STRONG… Fri 10.26 cr, Sat 13.68 cr, Sun 16.11 cr, Mon 5.87 cr, Tue 6.12 cr, Wed 7.05 cr. Total: ₹ 59.09 cr. India biz.”

The global distribution of the flick is in the hands of Sony and the organisation is just hoping for the best to come from the theatres. Tomorrow, Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpaaye’s Aiyaary will be out on the screens and the audience will be divided.

This new release will develop competition on the domestic screen as now the majority of the audiences have three options – Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Akshay Kumar and a scam based flick. The story of the movie has been taken out from a book by Twinkle Khanna known as The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad.

And the book is based on the real life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, the social activist and entrepreneur who developed a pad making machine at a low cost. The condition of his wife made him do something for her.

The movie release date is not delayed once but initially, it was scheduled on 25 Jan but due to the controversies going on for the Padmaavat made the makers to shift the date for supporting Sanjay Leela Bhansali. And as soon as the Padmaavat released, it has done a fabulous business worldwide crossing Rs. 400 crores.
