The 18th-day collection for “Sultan” are expected to be around Rs 5 crore*. Also, it is expected that by then it will overtake “Baahbali”, pushing it back to number fourth. Sultan 18th Day Collection

On July 20th, 14 days later its release on the 15th day, the flick frog leapt Aamir Khan’s “Dhoom 3” to set into the third position of Highest Grossers of Hindi Cinema. Speaking of the life till now, “Sultan” was released on 6th July at the Domestic Box Office. The response to the flick was gigantic. Peoples in numbers watched the flick, thus routeing it to the Rs 100 crore mark.

Later only after its weekend, the flick total earnings were more than Rs 100 crore at the Domestic Market. It did not lose it grip in the weekdays and the earnings were satisfactory. Even it did not lose its stability in the second week.

As of July 21st , the total earnings for the movie stand to be Rs 522.06 crore (Worldwide collection) of which Rs 386.06 crore gross are from the 16- day domestic run and around Rs 136 crore are from the 12-days overseas run. Thus inching more closely to the Rs 550 crore mark worldwide.

Forming the till now earning pattern as the basis, Trade experts are sure shot that the Sultan will take over the “Dhoom 3” and “Baahubali” lifetime records. Coming to the top two slots occupied by “PK” and “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, the takeover seems fumbling.

Yet “Sultan” with the present achievements, has been one of the biggest hits for Salman Khan. Apparently, the flick is also a milestone in the career of Anushka Sharma, considering the fact that this was her first movie with Salman.

“Sultan” is a sports drama film, directed and written by Ali Abbas Zafar, and thus proved out to be a great success for him and the entire team of producers and investors.
