Happy Diwali 2015 Puja/Pooja Vidhi, Muhurat, Timings: Deepavali Pujan is most important worship for Hindus. Divali brings wealth and prosperity in everyone’s life. For making Goddess and Lord happy, we must do worship in the correct manner. You can find numerous pujan that are observed on the day of Deewali.

On Diwali, the period of Amavasya, newly prepared idols of Lord Ganesh and Goddess Lakshmi for the worship. Lord Ganesha is worshipped before any Pooja. Other than these, Kuber Puja and Bahi-Khata Pooja are also practiced in some regions of India.

The Deepavali day is observed as the full day fast. People do fast without water or with fruits only or with milk only. This depends upon the capability of person’s body for the fast.

The above pujans should be done with full rituals. All these pujans takes hours to complete and the time available for Lakshmi Pujan is less. We must start the Diwali before the Lakshmi Pujan Muhurat. After that further pujan can be done. It is necessary for the Diyas to lighten up for the whole night.

Duration = 2 Hours and 18 Minutes

Kumbha Lagna Muhurat = 13:15 to 14:42 (Afternoon timings)
Duration = 1 Hour and 27 Minutes

Vrishabha Lagna Muhurat = 17:42 to 19:38 (Evening timings)
Duration = 1 Hour and 55 Minutes

Amavasya Tithi Begins = 21:23 on 10 November
Amavasya Tithi Ends = 23:16 on 11 November
