Padman 3rd Day Collection, Padman Sunday Box Office Report and 1st Weekend Occupancy: The movie starring Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte has started low on the first day with Rs. 10.26 crore. But from the day of release, it is getting positive responses from the viewers. And this created favourable condition for the next further days.

The second day started with an increase in occupancy and the result can be seen from the Saturday business of Rs. 13.68 crore. The audiences are very much satisfied after watching the film. This is usual for Akshay Kumar starrer movie.

Now, the Sunday is almost a holiday for everyone. Most of the people plan to head towards the theatres and cinema halls for watching the movie. The occupancy will again increase many times in comparison to the opening day.

However, the 2 day total stands at Rs. 23.94 crores and it is confirmed that the movie has collected Rs. 16.11 crores. This makes the 1st weekend business of around Rs. 40 crores. The movie is facing some legal issues due to plagiarism.

Directed by R Balki, the business graph of the movie has shown growth. And if you observe the Bollywood business frequently then you must know that every production shows growth till the third day of release.

The Bollywood business and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#PadMan makes RAPID STRIDES on Sat… Picks up SPEED… Biz should be STRONG on Sun too… HEALTHY weekend is on the cards… Fri 10.26 cr, Sat 13.68 cr. Total: ₹ 23.94 cr. India biz.”

It is also an expectation that the flick might enter the Rs. 50 crores club in its opening weekend. So, it will make a profit for the makers. The last production of Khiladi Kumar Toilet: Ek Prem Katha did well in the domestic market. And this movie is also based on social issue and it is expected it will work well just like the former.

A film critic Shubhra Gupta says that the movie has good intentions but it is not as good as expected and he has given two stars. Previously, the film was scheduled to release on Republic Day 2018.

But Akshay Kumar just to help the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production, Padmaavat shifted the release date in the month of February. This is done mainly due to the controversies going due to the release of Padmaavat.
